Hi,

My name is Maria Uliczki I live with my son Alexander Partlow in Szeged, Hungary. Alex is 31 years old, successfully completed several schools but could not find a job.

At the time we thought it is a good idea if he completes another school for learning frontend programming, we thought he can surly find a job in that profession. So we find a school, Progmatic in Budapest. The school offered after financing which means he can pay the price of the course after graduation. The total amount for the school was 4 426 euros, 1 million 765 thousand forints, and so far we have payed off 1926 euros, and remaining 2500 euros. Seemed like a good idea since the school offered help in finding a job also. Alex has graduated from the school successfully, got his diploma. But all job opportunities that the school was offering was located in Budapest which is 200 kilometres from our home. In Szeged all the job opportunities in this field for junior developer required 3 to 5 years of experience which of course he does not have.

I had a good job and we could manage. But unfortunately my workplace, where I have worked for over 11 years, went bankrupt a half a year ago, and Alex still can’t find any job what so ever.

At the moment I receive a pre-retirement aid from the government, that is 265 euros every month.

Alex is working public work also through the government, he gets 240 euros every month.

That is 505 euros for our little family every month.

170 euro is the school every month, and I got a bank dept from long ago and that is 205 euros every month for another 7 years (thinking about starting a 4found for that too) which amounts to 375 euros every month. And we left with 130 euros every month to pay the bills, living costs and transportation.

I know there are a lot of people that have even less than us, and I am grateful for every little thing that I have, but these are really hard times and every help and every share on any kind of media is greatly appreciated.
