Let’s help Szüri! 🐴❤

Szüri is a 15-year-old Lipizzaner gelding who is so much more than just a horse to us. He has a wonderful personality and brings us so much love, joy and unforgettable moments. He is an incredibly intelligent and lovable horse. Over the years, we’ve learnt so much from him, and Szüri does so much to help us make our dreams come true. We’ve developed together during our training sessions at home, and we’ve experienced countless unforgettable moments and successes with him at competitions; we owe him a great deal.

On Thursday 17 September 2026, Szüri showed symptoms suggesting stomach problems. He was examined by a vet that very same day, but at that stage we did not yet know exactly what might be causing the problem. His condition did not improve after that, so further investigations were necessary, and Szüri had to be taken to hospital the following day. Based on the tests, he was diagnosed with enteritis, which had caused his intestinal walls to become permeable. He is in a life-threatening condition. His vital signs have changed drastically, so he currently requires constant veterinary supervision and intensive care.

According to the vets, the expected cost of treatment is around 2,000,000 forints. This is a huge sum, which is very difficult to raise on our own, so we are now asking for help.

Szüri still has her whole life ahead of her, and we want to do everything we can to ensure she receives the necessary treatment and has the best possible chance of recovery.
