On 29 January 2014, my son, Gergely Zoltán Sárkán, then 10 years old, was diagnosed as autistic at the Vadaskerti Hospital and Specialised Outpatient Clinic in Budapest. We received the financial support for his condition. On 29 August this year, during the usual 2-yearly environmental assessment, my son was scored as having no change in his condition. As a result, from November 2024, they withdrew the Child Care Home Allowance which is 240 120 HUF net. We will be in an impossible situation both financially and in terms of housing. I care for my son alone, we have no income other than my son's disability allowance, which is 35 214-forints. I would like to ask for advice because I have been turned away from the Veszprém Department of Public Authorities on the grounds that the next time I can apply for the Child Care Home Allowance is June 2025, the next time under the present legislation. I hereby ask for your help !
