I’d like to publish the second humorous novel I’ve finished this spring, but I’d need some money to do so. This novel, for which I haven’t yet found a title, is my life story, running to around 200 pages including illustrations. My first novel, ‘Hoinăreanu’, was published by Casa Cărții de Știință in Cluj-Napoca in 2023 and received very good reviews. It was included by Cărturești in a list of the 28 best works of fiction of recent years. In the autumn of 2023, I launched it at the Gaudeamus Book Fair at Romexpo, where I organised a great many artistic events. In the publisher’s sales rankings, Hoinăreanu came second at the Book Fair. For the novel I wish to publish, proofreading would cost around 700 euros, the illustrations and cover – 600 euros, and the publishing costs and first print run of 100 copies – 700 euros.
