In Hungary today, you too could become a victim of ideological or political persecution at any moment. Because it’s now a crime to think differently, but it may also be enough if you’re not a vocal activist, or simply because someone else wants your place.

When your character is publicly torn to shreds in the media, you face life-threatening threats on social media platforms every day, you are the victim of persecution and intimidation, you suffer legal violations, abuse and violence, or you are fired from your job without cause...

You have no one to turn to, no one to protect you, and you could lose everything in the blink of an eye.

Why are we launching the community AID FUND?

The LAW is the last bastion of defence against arbitrariness and persecution.

However, protracted investigations, politically motivated lawsuits and expert fees cost a fortune. This either completely bled a family dry financially, or the victim cannot afford the costs and is forced to give in.

We cannot allow anyone to be left defenceless in times of trouble simply because they cannot afford exorbitantly expensive lawyers and years of legal battles!

This fundraising campaign is for those innocent people who have been dragged through the mud and thrown out onto the streets without severance pay, as well as for every marginalised, silenced thinker, artist and professional who has faced retaliation for political or ideological reasons.

What is our aim and what will your support go towards?

To establish a stable, fully independent financial fund that provides immediate, tangible legal and financial assistance to our compatriots in need.

• 15,000 HUF: Funds one hour of professional legal consultation, which can stop unlawful pressure from authorities or employers.
• 50,000 HUF: Enables the drafting of a full statement of claim or appeal in a case involving unfair dismissal or compensation.
• 150,000 HUF or more: Provides full representation and defence for a victim at the first court hearing, ensuring they cannot be crushed by force.
