A Little About Mutare:

Nestled among the lush hills of Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands, Mutare is a place of breathtaking views and rich traditions. It’s a city where people work hard, support each other, and celebrate life’s simple joys-like a warm, satisfying meal shared with loved ones.

The Dream and Why This Matters:

I have been a passionate cook for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl, Christmas days, birthdays and Sunday lunches shared with my family were always a warm feast. I discovered my love for cooking by simply watching my mum and siblings in the kitchen. I was the youngest, eight years behind my brother, so I couldn’t do much at the time, but I was captivated by the smells, the laughter, and the magic of creating soul-warming unforgettable meals. Those moments ignited a passion for food that has stayed with me ever since.

Moving to Johannesburg, South Africa, a cosmopolitan city, at eighteen was a transformative experience for me. It introduced me to a vibrant world of diverse cultures and their unique cuisines. This exposure sparked my fascination with exploring other culinary traditions. I spent years experimenting and learning in the kitchen, immersing myself in the flavours and techniques that make each culture’s food so special.

My dream is to start a ghost kitchen, a delivery-only restaurant, that caters to the growing demand for quality, home-cooked food. But I don’t just want to serve food; I want to serve an experience! By using my culinary skills and leveraging digital platforms for orders, I’ll provide a seamless dining experience for those who value convenience and flavour. Whether it’s a quick lunch for busy professionals or a dinner for a family on the go, my kitchen will be a taste of home, made with love.
