Description
Now that the "Warm Soup for Kyiv" campaign has come to an end – during which we managed to cook and deliver 1,000 litres of Polish Żurek as tangible, direct aid to the area – I’m not slowing down.
After many conversations with the residents of Kyiv, where thousands of homes have no heating, electricity or water, and temperatures are between -10 and -20°C, I have decided that the next initiative will be a collection of blankets. These are also desperately needed, as they can be used to cover children or to insulate windows and doors.
I promise that the warm blankets will go to the Tents of Resilience, where they will be distributed to residents.
