Hi, my name is Tina and I’m 38 years old. ❤️

Six years ago, I was diagnosed with aneurysms. Shortly afterwards, a tumour was also discovered in my head. For a long time, I tried to carry on and live as normally as possible, but the tumour gradually grew and is now causing me serious problems.

And as if that weren’t enough, I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer as well. I’ve started chemotherapy and biological therapy, and at the same time, the situation with the tumour in my head has become more complicated.

I have to keep fighting. As the doctor told me, I’m a strong fighter. ❤️ And I’m holding on to that.

There is hope in the form of proton therapy in Prague. Surgery on the tumour in my head is very risky given my seven aneurysms, and the doctors fear it might not be successful. That’s why proton therapy offers me great hope.

The problem, however, is the cost. The treatment and all associated costs aren’t fully covered by my insurance, and I can’t afford them on my own.

I am a mum to two sons. After my divorce, I was left to look after the children on my own, and they are my biggest reason for not giving up. They still need me. I want to be there for them, look after them and live with them for as long as possible.

That is why I have decided to ask for help. It isn’t easy for me to talk about my situation and ask for help, but I now realise that I cannot manage this on my own.
