Description

Hello, my name is Tina, I’m 38 years old.

Six years ago, I was diagnosed with aneurysms. Shortly afterwards, a tumour appeared, which I was able to cope with, but it has grown excessively and is causing me quite a lot of problems, so it has to be removed. I’ve been fighting for a long time and sometimes I run out of strength, but as the doctor says, I’m a strong fighter. There is hope that if I start proton therapy, it will help me. Surgery is an option, but as there are so many aneurysms – as many as seven – they fear it is too risky and that the operation might not be successful. That is why this option exists – proton therapy – but it is financially costly. Since I was left alone with the children after my divorce, I simply can’t afford it. I’m still a mum; I have two sons, and it’s for them that I want to keep fighting. The insurance doesn’t cover the costs of treatment and everything else, so I’m looking for kind-hearted people who could help me and make a contribution. I’m a mum to two children who still need me. Treatment is only available in Prague. It would help so much if I could look after my children. It breaks your heart when you don’t know what to do or who to turn to for help, and the insurance companies say that, unfortunately, they won’t cover all treatments. My appointment is in two weeks, so I have to fight.
