A misdiagnosis regarding my hands had a negative impact on my life for a long time and held me back, as did so many other things 

Now, as a single woman aged 43, I still want to have children!

Unfortunately, due to my age and thyroid problems, it is no longer possible for me to conceive naturally – I have been trying constantly for over 10 years.

That’s why the only option left for me is to conceive through artificial means.

This is where my financial problems begin:

The statutory health insurance does not contribute anything towards artificial insemination.

In Germany, the health insurance does contribute a little towards the cost for up to three attempts, but firstly, this is only for married couples, and secondly, only up to the age of 40. 

So I have to find the large amount of money required myself somehow.

But I either have only low-paid jobs or am repeatedly on income support, so it is not possible to cover the immense costs of artificial insemination from my monthly income.

I have looked into it and found that the necessary medical treatment is significantly cheaper abroad – particularly in Spain, where the most advanced research into these treatments is currently taking place due to more liberal legislation.

But even there, I have to reckon with costs of between 30,000 and 50,000 euros for three attempts.

Please help me so that I can make this path to realising my dream a reality. Thank you very much!
