These past two years have been a journey. It has been a creative hassle to keep apothiki up and running, organising events and maintaining/upgrading the space to accommodate them. This wouldn't have been possible without the wonderful community that has grown around and within the space and it is this community that keeps a self-funded and self-organised space like apothiki alive.

After this brutal summer we are ready to reopen and get the space ready for action. However, due to the inactive months of summer, the inevitable rent increase and the upgrades we have planned, we are now in need of the community's support.

We've created a fundraiser (check the link below), to help us achieve our list of 'TO DO's' and cover the running costs. You are also more than welcome to contribute by giving us a helping hand or donating material.

TO DO's:

Install a second toilet

Finish the stage and continue soundproofing

Fix the bar floor and lay down vinyl or tiles

Install an outdoor sink

Install an air-condition in the studio/practice space

There's always more work to be done and we are, of course, open to any suggestions.
