Hello, my name is Rodica. I am the mother of an 8-year-old boy who needs behavioral therapy. Our story is both sad and happy. When the boy was one year and three months old, I separated from his father because he was becoming more and more violent. He was no longer paying anything in the house and with a baby I had ended up maintaining the entire house. I decided to leave him and protect the boy from abuse. Since 2019, I have been suing his father in court to obtain custody and alimony. The court decided that we would have joint custody with the father's right to be able to take the boy from the age of 6 two weekends a month. Since he started taking him, my child began to have deviant behavior, to become violent both physically and verbally. When I proposed therapy for the child, the father did not give his consent and again I went to court to be able to obtain consent. The father continues to turn him against me and divert him from the normal course of life. My child suffers a lot and without therapy and support I cannot combat this. I do not receive financial or emotional support from him even now. The child is disoriented and urgently needs therapy. He is exposed to bad words, alcohol and other substances that his father uses. I work 10 hours a day to be able to pay for a lawyer and therapy but I no longer have the strength to continue all this. These are the reasons why I turn to the kindness of people to help me.
