When our community needs a voice, Rock FM Cyprus turns up the volume.

At Rock FM Cyprus, we believe that radio is about more than music. It is also about bringing people together, supporting our community and using our voice to make a positive difference.

This season, we are proud to launch Rock FM for a Cause to support children with disabilities and their families at Kivotos Foundation in Paphos. We are raising funds to improve its building and therapy spaces, maintain its facilities and provide the materials needed for its everyday work.

Kivotos Foundation is a therapy and rehabilitation centre established through the initiative of parents of children with disabilities. Its multidisciplinary team provides coordinated and individually planned support, which may include physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology and special education.

For almost 20 years, Kivotos has been there for children with disabilities and their families in Paphos. Now, we’re asking our community to be there for Kivotos.

Why is your support needed now?

After years of daily use, the Kivotos building now needs renovation, maintenance and renewal.

The centre already has the specialised therapeutic equipment required for its work. The immediate need is to care for the environment around it: the rooms where therapy takes place, the facilities used by children and families, and the everyday materials that support therapy and learning.

Our goal is to raise €3,000, but the greater the amount raised, the more Kivotos will be able to achieve!

The money raised will contribute towards:

- Renovating and improving the building, both inside and outside.

- Renewing therapy rooms and facilities.

- Maintaining and improving areas used daily by children, families and professionals.

- Purchasing therapeutic and educational consumables needed for everyday activities.

- Replacing or improving items and equipment needed for the daily operation of Kivotos’ services.
