Early Years and Background

My name is Alessandro Turco, but you may know me as DJ Genesys. I was born in Recife, Brazil, in 1986 and grew up in Verona, Italy, where I spent 35 incredible years before moving to Athens, Greece, in 2021. My passion for music began early, combining electronic beats with the intensity of metal. This foundation shaped my journey towards creating something truly innovative.

Musical Journey

I began my artistic career producing electronic music, but metal has always resonated deeply with me. Influenced by legends such as Metallica and Iron Maiden, I wanted to create something unique: a fusion of the raw power of metal and the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence. In 2024, I released two albums on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. My debut, Eternal Light, featured tracks such as ‘Eternal Light’ and ‘Hallelujah’, blending traditional metal with AI-generated symphonic elements. My second album cemented my approach to pushing the boundaries of the genre.

I am now working on my new project, Mythos Reborn, an album that aims to push the boundaries of musical creativity even further. This record is a tribute to mythology and its connection to the deepest human emotions, enriched by epic atmospheres and innovative sounds that combine metal with the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence.

My music combines the raw energy of metal with futuristic production techniques. Thanks to AI, I have managed to create evocative melodies and cinematic atmospheres that push the boundaries of what is possible whilst keeping the emotional essence of metal alive. Playing live is one of my favourite aspects of this journey. My shows are immersive, combining cutting-edge visuals with powerful soundscapes.
