Our beautiful organic farm La Fonte in Italy has run into trouble due to long-term illness and other unforeseen issues. We, Paolo and Berbera, would like to transfer the multifunctional community farm to a foundation or people who understand and want to continue the biodiversity of the farm. We are in talks with a number of people and an organisation for this purpose, and there is also an ongoing project for solar panels that could alleviate the farm's costs. We are also exploring how to give the farm a didactic function so that young people in particular, including Dutch people, can gain practical experience in "agricultural inclusive nature". Since transferring a farm is a complex operation, we need time and money. We hope not to have to sell vital parts of the farm, such as the goats or the tractor, so that the farm can easily be taken over and continued. We have spent years trying to find the pieces of the puzzle together and would hate to tear it down prematurely. We hope with your contribution we can make the turnaround! We can't do it anymore, unfortunately, but we assume we are almost there.
