Hello, my name is Juliana and I never thought I’d have to come here to ask for help… but today I’m fighting for what matters most: a safe home for my three girls and my baby, who’s due very soon.

Over the last few months, my life has been turned upside down. I lost my job because I was pregnant and didn’t have a contract, after waiting for my papers to be sorted out – something that never happened. Since then, I’ve been doing the impossible to keep everything afloat… but the truth is that I’m currently living with relatives, with no space, no privacy and a heavy heart because I can’t give my daughters the stability they deserve.

I have three daughters: an 18-year-old teenager, a 9-year-old girl and an 8-year-old, and I am now 26 weeks pregnant. With every passing day, I worry more and more about not having a safe place to welcome my baby. I have been registered with IRHU for over four years, waiting for social housing that has not yet materialised. Unfortunately, renting is impossible for me on my own — prices have risen, and landlords demand several months’ rent in advance and guarantors, something I do not have.

That is why I am making this appeal, with all the sincerity in my heart:

I need help to be able to rent a home for my family.

Any amount, however small, makes a difference.
