For many years,the Light-Life Movement in the Diocese of Bydgoszcz has played an important role in the lives of many of the faithful, offering spiritual formation, retreats, and formation and community meetings. In order to serve the faithful even more effectively and to develop the Movement’s activities, we need to establish a Diocesan Light-Life Centre. This dream, which we wish to realise together, needs your support! 

Project objective: The Centrewill become a focal point for the development of the Light-Life Movement in the Diocese of Bydgoszcz. It will be a place for meetings, formation, retreats, and a space for shared spiritual growth. Thanks to the Centre, the Movement will be able to expand its activities, offering a richer programme of formation and better facilities for meetings for the faithful from across our diocese. The benefits of its establishment include: an increase in the number of participants and meetings, better integration of communities, access to modern rooms and equipment, and the creation of a permanent base for spiritual development. 

Description of the planned centre:We want the Diocesan Light-Life Centre to be a modern and functional facility, offering: 

• Spacious conference and workshop rooms, adapted to various needs.
• A chapel providing a space for prayer and liturgical celebration.
• A library with a rich collection of spiritual and formative literature.
• Rooms for smaller group meetings, conducive to building community bonds.
• Staff and administrative facilities.

Why do we need financial support?The cost of refurbishing the building and equipping the Diocesan Light-Life Centre is significant. Without financial support from individuals and institutions, the realisation of this important project will be very difficult, if not impossible. Your generosity will enable us to build a dignified and functional Centre that will serve many generations. 

How will the funds raised be used?The fundsraisedwill be allocated to:  

• Adapting the building designated by the Bishop of Bydgoszcz to the needs of our community (75% of the budget),
• Furnishing the Centre (25% of the budget).
