My name is Evelina and... well, this isn't easy for me, it physically hurts me to ask for it, but I'm in need of help.

I've been out of a job for most of the year, and have been on part-time "sick leave" since my doctors deem that I'm unfit to work a full-time job. The plan had been that I would apply for a full-time job this fall, but recently my doctor extended my sick leave until February. I'm gutted, as this means I only qualify for part time unemployment benefits and I won't be able to apply for the jobs I need. Therefore my income has been almost halved since I was made redundant at the beginning of the year.

Because of two chronic illnesses and various mental health issues, I'm on seven different medications, and with the new rules and Sweden's high cost protection raised an significant amount, I have been unable to pick up some of my prescriptions.

With the increased costs of living, extremely expensive medication and bills that are piling up, I'm at my wits end. My family tries to help with small things such as groceries, which is of course helpful but there's so many expenses that I can't keep up and I'm not sure how much longer I can go on like this.

I understand I'm far from the only one who is struggling, I know costs for, well, everything has skyrocketed all over the world.

Any help you can offer is appreciated, even if it's just a simple share or a couple Euros. When I'm back on my feet my hope is to pay it forward and also give to people who are stuck in similar situations as I am now.
