“Two steps forward, one step back – that’s pretty much how we’d describe the last few days...”
Further check-ups have taken place over the last few days, and we finally have some more encouraging results.According to the ultrasound, the condition of the bile ducts appears to be improving. Compared to the previous serious blockages, only minor sludge residues are now visible, which means that real progress has been made in this area. After such a long time, this finally brings us some relief.
Meanwhile, however, we are facing further difficulties.
Attila’s physical condition has become very strained; he has started losing weight again and currently weighs just 46.5 kg at a height of 188 cm. As a result, he is extremely weak and lacking in strength.
In addition, he has recently developed severe bile reflux. Furthermore, according to the doctors, there is a possibility of a so-called motility disorder or gastroparesis, which means that his stomach is not emptying properly; he has been prescribed new medication for this. We do not yet know exactly what is behind this, but his long-standing, weakened condition is likely to play a part.
To be honest, we feel once again that we’re taking two steps forward and one step back. Yet we’re trying to cling to the signs that point to improvement, because these are what give us the strength to carry on right now.
If you can, please support him, even if it’s just the price of a coffee or a share.
Every little bit of help is another step towards recovery for us.
Thank you for being with us in this difficult struggle.

Description
In recent years, my partner and I have been constantly battling illness. He has undergone several serious operations due to autoimmune liver disease and chronic Crohn's disease – after two bowel operations, he also needed a life-saving liver transplant last year.
We thought that after the transplant, he would finally be able to start recovering, but unfortunately, this was not the case. The operation was followed by three more surgeries, then long months of hospital treatment, infections and serious complications. During this period, he spent more time in hospital than at home.
In addition, after the transplant, he developed another autoimmune disease – primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) – which puts further strain on his body and requires continuous treatment and close medical supervision.
She currently lives with a PTD drain, which helps drain bile and must be cleaned three times a day into an external bag. The outcome of this is uncertain for the time being, so our daily lives are also unpredictable. Doctors have also indicated that if the PBC progresses, another transplant may be necessary in the future – but for this to happen, he must first regain his strength and stabilise his condition.
Despite all this, he fights with incredible strength every day. However, right now, his body needs rest, appropriate medication, special nutrition and continuous medical supervision in order to have a real chance of recovery.
Unfortunately, our current financial situation makes this increasingly difficult. Some of the medication is in short supply (and has to be ordered from abroad), private medical care is often necessary, and we are unable to provide the basic conditions necessary for recovery at home.
That is why we are launching this fundraiser. Our goal is to raise €24,000, which is currently needed for medication – including preparations that are not available in Hungary and must be obtained from abroad – private medical care, nutritional supplements, travel, and professional daily care appropriate to his condition. This would provide us with approximately one year of basic security during the recovery period, but if we raise less than this, we will still be grateful, because every month of help counts.
Every contribution, whether it is a small amount or a share, brings us closer to finally beginning a more peaceful period of recovery. Your help gives us a real chance at recovery and a new start.
We sincerely thank you for being with us on this journey.
Gyors felépülést kívánok!
Mielőbbi gyógyulást kívánok Neked, Attila!
Köszönöm Áron !
