UPDATE AND GOOD NEWS!
I have collected a first tranche of funds for the purchase of 106 boxes of blood glucose control strips. This first tranche amounts to 1365 euros. My friend H. took care of checking that they were working and that everything was in order. So it was. Having received the money, immediately the next morning H. organised the distribution with the families in the camp. They cannot thank you enough. The second instalment was 1184.80 euro + a donation from me and 3.99 euro commission for Western Union, making a grand total of 1303.99 euro, which was transferred, this time, not with my card but by bank transfer (my ceiling did not allow it). With this amount came both insulin pens and new blood glucose monitoring devices. And this is BEAUTIFUL news! H. did very well, amidst dangers and constraints, to find the materials. As you can also see from the photos, a second distribution of these materials was organised.
Thank you for your commitment and trust! Every euro really does make a difference. See you soon for new updates!

Description
The girls and boys in a refugee camp need our help. For security reasons, I cannot share further details, so the only thing you can do is trust me. 40 little ones suffer from diabetes and have run out of strips for the devices used to monitor blood glucose levels. Unfortunately, the only solution at the moment is to buy them locally because, although they cost more, it is the only way to get them for sure and quickly. I will update you on this collection once the necessary amount has been reached.
For one month, 80 boxes are needed, 2 for each boy and girl.
Each month the cost is about 1500 euros (including the commission that Western Union asks for the transaction).
Let us try to be optimistic and collect a sum that can guarantee 3 months of aid.
Thank you to everyone who wants to help!
