  • Hello, I'm Mohammed from Gaza. I have a family of four. I'm 36, Wissam is 26, Sham is 4, and Omar is 4 months old. Before the war, I owned a house and a sewing workshop. Life was beautiful.

We live in the northern Gaza Strip. After the events of October 7th, we were forced to flee to the southern Gaza Strip. We went to the central governorate, to the Maghazi camp, where we lived for three months. Then we were displaced to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for five months. After that, we were displaced to the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where we lived in a tent for eight months. We returned to Gaza on January 25, 2025. When we returned, everything was destroyed. My family had nowhere to live. I went to my father's and brothers' house to live in a small room. In the winter, the rain would come in, and in the summer, we couldn't bear the heat, mosquitoes, and insects. Days passed until the famine that the whole world witnessed. We risked death to get flour to feed my daughter and my wife, who was pregnant with my youngest child, Omar. Months passed with famine, bombing, and daily killings. On my daughter Sham's third birthday, September 11, 2025, we were displaced under bombardment and death. We went to the central camps, where I found myself living in a tent on the street. We endured the hardships of living in a tent for 40 days. After that, we returned to Gaza to find our family home severely damaged and on the verge of collapse. We are now living in it, exposed to death at any moment. We have also been plagued by diseases from rodents and rats. I am searching for monthly assistance so I can rent an apartment and protect my young children from illness.

Because of the war, we have nothing left. Our house and factory were destroyed.

Description

Help Mohammad’s Family Survive the Crisis in Gaza

My name is Mohammad Abdel-Halim Rashid Al-Dalu.

I am 34 years old, a tailor by profession, and I live in Gaza—specifically, in the Al-Nasr neighborhood. I’m a husband, a father, and a son. I have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter named Sham, and my wife is currently pregnant. We are a family of ten—my parents, eight siblings, and our children—all living in unimaginable conditions.

Before October 7, our lives were simple but peaceful. But on that day, everything changed. Our home was bombed. We were displaced. My older brother was taken captive. And since then, our lives have spiraled into daily fear, hunger, and suffering.

We Are Now Living in a Tent. We Have Nothing.

We now live in a makeshift tent made of fabric, exposed to the heat, the cold, and the dangers of war. We have no access to clean water, electricity, or consistent food. There is no healthcare—something critical for my pregnant wife and my young daughter.

Gaza is now one of the most expensive places in the world. With no work opportunities and skyrocketing prices due to siege and monopolies, I cannot afford even the basics. I cannot buy milk for my daughter. I cannot pay for medicine. I cannot ensure a safe place for my family to sleep.

We Need Your Help to Survive

We need approximately $ 4000 a month just to survive—this covers:

• Food and clean water for my family

• Medical care, especially for my children and pregnant wife

• A safer shelter away from the most dangerous areas

Every dollar you donate helps me keep my family alive. Every contribution means food for my child, medicine for my pregnant wife, and hope for another day.

To Every Person With a Kind Heart:

Please, try to imagine if this were you—your child, your spouse, your home. Wouldn’t you want someone to care? To act?

I’m not asking for luxury—I am simply asking for life.

Your donation, no matter how small, can truly save us.

Please donate. Please share.

You could be the reason a child survives this war. You could help bring dignity back to a family shattered by crisis.

Thank you from the depths of my heart. May your kindness be returned to you in peace and happiness.
