Description
I am a 50-year-old man from Croatia whose account was emptied by scammers. Namely, a month and a half ago, scammers called me and said that I could withdraw €8,500 that I had earned through cryptocurrencies. I actually bought some cryptocurrencies in 2019 for 1,800 kn, and forgot about it. I gave these scammers access to my account to pay me the profit, and of course I lost €6,500. I have a business that I pay for even in the winter, regardless of the fact that it is a seasonal (summer) job. That is why I had money in reserve, which the scammers took from me. The police told me to forget about the money... I am ashamed of how naive I turned out to be, and I didn't even tell my parents anything. I would be immensely grateful for any help, because I don't see a way out of this situation.
