Following the publication of the novel *Five Years More or Five Years Less*, we want to take the next step: turning this story into a mini-series for television or Netflix.

To convince producers and streaming platforms, we first need to fund the series bible and the initial scripts. This campaign will help kick-start this development.

It all begins with the diptych *Five Years More or Five Years Less*, a psychological and financial thriller blending love, manipulation and buried secrets.

Set across Belgium, France and Switzerland, the story draws the viewer into a disturbing investigation where the boundaries between truth, lies and memory become increasingly blurred.

As the story unfolds, a dreamlike quality takes hold, lending the plot a unique atmosphere that is both mysterious and dizzying.

My ambition now is to bring this story to the screen.

To do so, with the help of a director and a Liège-based production company, I wish to raise the necessary funds to develop a series bible and the first scripts, an essential step before presenting the project to producers and broadcasters.

The aim is to propose the adaptation:

either as a mini-series for an international platform such as Netflix, comprising 6 x 52 minutes or 8 x 52 minutes;

or as a 2 x 90-minute TV film or special event series for various European television channels.

With its plot spanning three French-speaking countries, the story naturally has an international dimension, likely to appeal to several broadcasters and co-producers.

Combining passion, mystery and revelations, Cinq ans de plus ou cinq ans de moins is a story designed to become a series.

Story summary:

Volume 1: The Time for Confidences

When love is written between silences and disappearances.

For two years, Stéphane has loved Valérie from afar, without ever having been able to have a real relationship with her. From the Vosges to the Valais, he follows a dizzying trail: twins with blurred identities, hidden fortunes, cryptocurrencies and mafia networks.

But his troubled nights reveal another path: Fabrice seems to be whispering clues to him in his dreams.

Caught between Julie, hurt by his silence, and Valérie, a survivor of a toxic past, Stéphane moves towards a truth that threatens both his heart and his life.
