For almost a year, Sami has struggled between hope and despair, illuminated by the light that urges him to continue and the shadows that try to bring him down. October 2023 marked the beginning of this nightmare, when persistent fatigue and lack of energy told him something was wrong. Initially ignoring the symptoms, Sami gradually slipped into an increasingly precarious condition. Prolonged sleep, tremors, and daily fevers confined him to bed, and his loved ones noted with concern the rapid deterioration of his condition. Losing 5kg in less than a month forced him to seek emergency medical help. The diagnosis hit like a bolt of lightning: Cancer – Hodgkin's lymphoma of the nodular sclerosis type. His and his family's life was completely shattered. Now, Sami commutes to Iași for chemotherapy every two weeks, receives blood transfusions and undergoes injectable treatment administered at home by a village nurse. However, the financial burden of the disease grows ever more pressing, threatening to crush her hope. Let's stand with Sami in this fight! Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in his life. We can be the light that guides him through this dark time, giving him the chance to beat cancer and enjoy a hopeful life again.
