I organized this fundraiser because I need help. 7 years ago I was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress syndrome, severe depression, panic attacks, mild anxiety disorder, and this year derealization and depersonalization have already started. It all started in childhood, when my father was mentally and physically abusive. I also started to have neurological problems: a herniated disc, osteoarthritis and nerve damage. I take about 28 tablets of medication a day, including morphine for pain. Because of these diseases I gained 70 kilograms in 3 years... from 90 kg to 160 kg. I lost my job because no one wants a sick employee. I currently suffer from morbid obesity, although I take great care of myself. 3 times a week at the gym, 2 hours of walking a day and a healthy diet - all under the supervision of doctors. I can't lose weight and my life is falling apart. I was also diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea + hypnopoiesis a week ago, which causes my breathing to stop 32 times an hour. Tomorrow I go to pick up a sleep machine (APAP) to help me breathe while I sleep. Losing weight will solve many of my health problems and may even help me enough to make some of my illnesses go away. I have been considering bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass) for about 2 years now, but the hospital won't let me do it because of my severe mental health issues. My only option is a gastric balloon for 12 months, which will help me lose up to 30% of my body weight. Unfortunately, I can't pay for the balloon myself and my insurance won't cover it either. I have tried asking for Saxenda weight loss pens, but they are very expensive and with sick pay I can barely afford to eat. I would like to ask you for help in returning to a normal life, as well as support for my treatment, which will allow me to lose weight and get rid of the diseases I suffer from.
