In the Czech Republic, we implement reading literacy in kindergartens and reading activities in elementary schools. The goal is to awaken children's and students' interest in books, which we are very successful in during the 5-week activity. At the end, we give children a book gift with a label indicating who donated the book and a link to their website. In addition, we write a press release for the public press about each donor and we are happy when a representative of the donor comes to personally hand over the book. We work only with educational books from the publishing house Advemt-Orion, which work with positive emotions and thus the books affect the character of the student. 100% of the donation always goes to the book gift for the student. We need as much financial resources as possible to motivate more and more children and students to read. We already have a 10-year tradition and have reached out to over 4,000 families. We sent each donor a Tax Receipt and all donations are sent to a transparent bank account at Fio banka, so the movement on the account is publicly visible. For large partners and donors, we are willing to prepare educational programs in the given sector, all based on a personal agreement.
