Support for Áron
Description
I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart to ask for help for my little boy, Áron. ❤️
Áron was born with an extremely rare and severe congenital heart condition called Taussig–Bing anomaly. His heart cannot pump blood the way it should, and his life has been a fight from the very first hours.
This is not something that can be fixed with a single surgery. Áron’s life will always involve ongoing medical care, regular check-ups, and the constant risk of infections and complications.
This condition is incredibly rare — affecting fewer than 1 in 10,000 babies — which means he needs highly specialized doctors and long-term treatment.
Please, take a moment to read his story. And if you can, share it. Even the smallest act of kindness means more than words can express.
❤️ PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ MY SON ÁRON’S STORY ❤️
I am raising Áron and his siblings on my own. Every single day, I do everything I can to give them safety and stability, but the past years have tested us in every possible way — emotionally, physically, and financially.
Áron is not temporarily ill. He is a chronically ill little boy who needs constant medical supervision and special care. But more than that — he is my son, my brave little warrior, who has been fighting since the day he was born. ❤️
ÁRON’S STORY
Áron was born on March 16, 2021. He was perfect and beautiful, and at first, we didn’t know what was coming. Just hours later, everything changed. He was diagnosed with multiple severe heart defects that had not been seen during pregnancy.
He was rushed to Budapest, where doctors fought to save his life. I could barely hold him — I could only watch him surrounded by tubes and machines, hoping and praying.
Medication couldn’t stabilize him. At just two weeks old, he had to undergo a shunt surgery. Soon after, he developed a severe chest infection and needed another operation.
For 11 days, my baby lay with an open chest.
During this time, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and thrombosis.
Since then, our journey has been filled with endless challenges — surgeries, long periods on a ventilator, infections, pneumonia, even COVID. And somehow, every single time, Áron has found the strength to fight his way back.
Nearly two years ago, he underwent another major surgery. His heart circulation was reconstructed, and he received a Hancock graft with a biological valve. This was a huge milestone in his life.
Today, he can attend kindergarten for 8 hours a day — something we once only dreamed of.
But our journey is far from over.
In the near future, we are facing another important check-up, where we will likely learn when the next surgery will be needed.
Recent MRI results showed no new bleeding, but the damage from his earlier brain hemorrhage remains. Lately, we’ve started to notice worrying symptoms — aggression, sensitivity to noise, intense crying triggered by sounds, occasional bedwetting, and repetitive “flying” movements.
Our doctor believes these may be connected to the earlier brain injury. We are now waiting for neurological evaluation.
The past four years haven’t just been a difficult chapter — this is our everyday life.
And as a single parent, it is becoming harder and harder to carry this alone.
If you are able to help us, we are endlessly grateful. ❤️
Even a small amount — even 1000 HUF — truly makes a difference in our lives.
And if you cannot donate, please consider sharing our story. That alone can help us reach someone who can.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, for caring, and for standing with us.
With love and gratitude,
Áron and his family ❤️
