Help Rainbow Gospel take us to Queertune in Copenhagen! 🌈🎶

Dear queers and allies,

Rainbow Gospel has been invited to participate in the Nordic LGBTQ+ choir festival Queertune, taking place in Copenhagen on 6-8 June 2025. We are of course extremely happy and proud of this, but many of our members do not have the financial means to pay for travel and accommodation for the festival.

Therefore, we are now extending a glittering hand and asking for financial support so that everyone in the choir has the opportunity to participate and spread our song and strength even beyond Sweden's borders.

Why is this important?

Rainbow Gospel is Sweden's only LGBTQI gospel choir - an exuberant musical and social platform that celebrates diversity and promotes openness between people. Through powerful songs, we spread joy and hope, while encouraging understanding of differences between gay, bi, straight, trans and cis people. We want to showcase the beauty and richness of our differences and create an inclusive community where everyone can feel heard and welcome.

Participating in Queertune is a unique chance for us to meet other LGBTQ+ choirs from all over the Nordic countries and Europe, share our music, be inspired by others and raise our voices together for love, freedom and justice.

What does the money go towards?

We are looking for €5,000 to cover:

-Travel and accommodation for our choir members

-Festival fees and participation tickets

-Joint rehearsals and preparation for the performance
