Start Suceava Sports Club is more than a football club - it is an educational project dedicated to children's development through sport and values. With a modern methodology and a vision orientated towards holistic training, the Start Club aims to create an environment where every child learns to become a champion, not only on the pitch, but also in life.

The Start Campus project is an important step in this direction. Located in Dumbrăveni, Suceava County, Start Campus will be our own sports centre. Currently, the Start Club is renting a plot of land in this locality, with a 5-year contract with the possibility of extension. With the funds raised, we aim to transform this pitch into a modern base that will meet the training and competition needs of the club's children.

In the spring of 2024, we were able to carry out the first essential works, which included levelling and levelling the pitch, as well as preparatory digging for the installation of a modern irrigation system. Unfortunately, the lack of funds has blocked the implementation of this system, which prevents us from continuing with the next steps of the project.

Every month, in addition to the rent we pay for the rented land in Dumbrăveni, where we are going to build the Start Campus, we also have to cover the costs of the facilities where we are currently operating from the club's funds. These include the halls and pitches at the current training locations, which are necessary to provide the children with adequate training conditions. In addition, we provide for coaches' salaries and other operational expenses essential to the running of the club.

Given these constant costs, it is extremely difficult to direct our own funds, mainly from the monthly subscriptions paid by the children's parents, towards the construction of the sports centre. For this reason, we rely heavily on donations and sponsorships to make Start Campus a reality. Community support is vital to continue this project and to provide the children with the modern infrastructure they need to fulfil their potential.

The current conditions in which our children train do not reflect the level of dedication and passion we invest in their training. For example, the Start U15 team, which competes on large pitches, has to train on a small pitch. This discrepancy affects the tactical and technical preparation of the children, limiting their ability to practise in conditions similar to those in official matches.

In addition, many of the pitches where the county competitions take place are in a deplorable state, with more dirt than grass, bumps and potholes that not only affect the quality of the game, but can also jeopardise children's health. We cannot remain indifferent to these problems and feel it is our duty to act to improve the situation.

By building the Start Campus, we will not only provide our children with adequate conditions for training and safety, but we will also demonstrate that a modern infrastructure, realised with the support of the community, can become a national example. We strongly believe that, with your support, we can make this vision a reality.

In the spring of 2025, we intend to resume work on the Start Campus sports centre, following a well-established plan.

The first step will be the fencing of the rented pitch, an essential step to ensure the playing surface is protected and demarcated. We will then move on to the realisation of the synthetic pitch, which will include the laying of the base layer and the installation of the artificial playing surface. In parallel, the natural pitch will require the completion of the irrigation system, followed by levelling, sanding and sowing the grass. All these steps are essential to provide our children with optimal training conditions and safety on the pitch.

We are committed to managing every cent we receive with maximum transparency. All expenditure of the funds raised will be justified by invoices which will be published on this page. We will also regularly update information about the progress of the project, the amounts needed for the next steps and the results achieved.
