Description

We are PS Builders, one of the teams from the robotics workshop at the Vörösmarty Mihály Grammar School in Érd. We came first in the RoboMission category at the national final of the World Robot Olympiad, an international robotics competition. This has given us the opportunity to represent Hungary at the WRO World Final 2026, to be held in Puerto Rico this December.

Our team’s success this year is not without precedent, as we finished 30th in the international field at last year’s world final in Singapore, making us the third-best team in the European Union.

The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is an international robot-building and programming competition, in the final of which competitors from more than 100 countries around the world pit their skills against one another in four categories.

The competition will take place from 8 to 10 December 2026 at the Puerto Rico Convention Centre in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Further information: https://wro-association.org/

Travel costs and entry fees for the competition are only partially subsidised. We also need to upgrade the team’s equipment to meet the challenges of the world final. We are fitting the robot with a new control system and sensors. We also need to purchase spare parts.

I would like to ask you to support us so that we can represent Hungary at the World Robotics Championship in Puerto Rico!

Thank you in advance for your support!
