Description
Dear Kind-hearted Helpers!
We are reaching out to you now because we can no longer manage this situation on our own.
Our little girl, Lívia, lives with a rare genetic condition: osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). This means that her bones are extremely fragile; even the slightest movement, a fall or a sneeze can cause a fracture.
Lívia has suffered more than 10 fractures of the femur so far and has undergone numerous operations. Last summer, one operation unfortunately did not go well, and since then she has been unable to walk and is confined to a wheelchair. This has completely changed her life. She is often confined to her home, even though she needs to attend therapy sessions, see doctors, and simply live the life of a child.
My husband also lives with this condition and is currently recovering from a major operation; he hasn’t been able to work for six months. I can’t take on a job either, because Lívia requires 24-hour care.
On top of that, I suffer from glaucoma, which means I shouldn’t be lifting anything – yet day in, day out, I have to lift Lívia out of her wheelchair because our current car isn’t suitable for this.
That is why we would like a wheelchair-accessible minibus,
such as a Toyota Proace Verso.
This would enable us to:
- transport Lívia safely in her own wheelchair
- avoid having to lift her several times a day
- get to the necessary therapies and medical appointments
- regain a little freedom in her life
For us, this is not a matter of convenience, but a chance for a more liveable life.
A car like this costs around 18 million forints, which we cannot afford on our own in our current situation.
That is why we are now asking for your help.
Even if you can contribute just a little, it will be a huge help.
And if you share our story, it might reach others who are also able to help.

We are so grateful for all your support ❤️
Dear kind-hearted people,
We are reaching out because we can no longer resolve our situation on our own.
Our daughter, Livia, lives with a rare genetic condition called osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). This means her bones are extremely fragile – even a small movement, a fall, or even a sneeze can cause fractures.
Livia has already suffered more than 10 femur fractures and has undergone many surgeries. Last summer, one of her surgeries unfortunately did not go well, and since then she has been unable to walk and is now dependent on a wheelchair.
This has completely changed her life. She is often confined within four walls, even though she needs therapies, medical care, and the chance to live like a child.
My husband also lives with this condition and is currently recovering from a serious operation. He has not been able to work for the past six months. I am also unable to work, as Livia requires 24-hour care.
In addition, I suffer from glaucoma, so I should not be lifting heavy weights – yet I have to lift Livia daily because our current car is not suitable.
That is why we are trying to get an accessible minibus, such as a Toyota Proace Verso.
This would allow us to:
- transport Livia safely in her wheelchair
- avoid having to lift her multiple times a day
- take her to necessary therapies and medical appointments
- give her back some freedom in her life
For us, this is not about comfort – it is a chance for a life worth living.
The cost of such a vehicle is around 18 million HUF, which is far beyond our financial means.
That is why we are asking for your help.
Any contribution, no matter how small, means a lot to us.
And sharing our story can help us reach people who may be able to support us.
