🌿 Help me to live. Help me to remain a mother. Help me to give more.

My name is Eszter, I’m 41 years old and the mum of two wonderful little boys (aged 4 and 6).

My husband and I waited many years for them; we lost several babies along the way, and when they finally arrived, alongside the joy of becoming parents, childhood wounds resurfaced that tested our relationship and ourselves. But we worked on ourselves. We believed things could be different. And just as our lives were finally starting to settle down... came the diagnosis: breast cancer.

This happened in the spring of 2022, on my younger son’s first birthday.

At the time, I embarked on the treatments with confidence and determination: chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy. They told me, “Two tough years, and I’ll be through it.” But life had other plans. It turned out that I have a genetic mutation, and the tumour is more aggressive than they thought. Today, I have metastases in my liver, my pleura and my bones. The treatments are proving insufficient – but I’m still here. I’m still alive. I still have hope.

And now I’m asking for help.

🌱 Why am I fundraising?

We have started a new, promising immunotherapy treatment: dendritic cell therapy.

This treatment isn’t a miracle cure – but it is a chance: a chance for my immune system to recognise the cancer cells and finally attack them.

In the best-case scenario, this could be the gateway to a full recovery.

But even if it ‘only’ buys me a few more years – it’s still worth it.

More morning hugs. More bedtime stories. More years of being here.

The cost of the treatment is €20,000 plus travel and additional medication

This is more than we could ever have raised ourselves. So now we are heavily in debt.

That is why I am turning to you now.

, where for years I have been helping mothers to understand themselves better, live more mindfully, and not have to sacrifice their own bodies and souls for the sake of the ‘good mother’ ideal. I believe that when we mothers heal, it builds our children’s future too.

I have given a lot – now it is my turn to ask.

Because I want to live.

I want to see my sons grow up.

I want to continue the work I do from the heart.

And I want to experience that the world I believe in – where people support one another – really does exist.
