Description
🌿 Help me to live. So I can stay a mother. So I can give more.
I am Esther, 41 years old, mother of two wonderful boys (4 and 6 years old).
My husband and I have waited for them for many years, losing several babies along the way, and when they finally arrived, the joy of parenthood was accompanied by childhood wounds that tested our relationship and ourselves. But we worked on ourselves. We believed it could be different. And when our lives finally started to smooth out... the diagnosis came: breast cancer.
That was in the spring of 2022, on my youngest son's first birthday.
At the time, I was confident and determined to start treatment: chemotherapy, surgery, radiation. I was told, "two hard years and I'll get through it." But life took a different turn. It turned out I had a genetic mutation and the tumour was more aggressive than they thought. I now have metastases in my liver, pleura and bones. Treatments are proving inadequate - but I'm still here. I am still alive. I still have hope.
And now I'm asking for help.
🌱 Why am I collecting?
We've started a promising new immunotherapy treatment: dendritic cell therapy.
This treatment is not a miracle promise - it's a chance: a chance to get my immune system to recognise cancer cells and finally attack them.
At best, this could be the gateway to a full cure.
But even if it "only" buys me years - it's worth it.
More morning hugs. More bedtime stories. More years of being present.
The cost of the treatment is €20,000 + travel and additional medication
More than we could raise on our own. So now we are in deep debt.
That is why I am now turning to you, to you.
💛 Who am I?
Many of you may know me from mommyhuman.com
where I have been helping mothers for years to understand themselves better, to live more consciously and not to sacrifice their own body and soul for the idea of being a "good mother". I believe that when we mothers heal, it builds the future of our children.
I have given much - now I ask.
Because I want to live.
I want to see my sons grow up.
I want to continue the work I do with all my heart.
And to experience that the world I believe in - the one where people support each other - really exists.
🫂 What does support mean?
Every single donation counts.
Not just financially, but also humanly. Every contribution is a little light on the road and a breath of strength to keep going.
When you give, you're not only helping me - you're helping my kids, my husband, and the thousands of other mothers I want to help.
💌 And if you're still unsure...
If you were here with me right now, I would take your hand and say just this:
"Thank you for reading. Thank you for being here. Because just listening to me is a little bit of healing."

Love isn’t charity, sometimes you just need to let people love you. 🫶🏻
