Hi, we are Carla, Sebastián, Luca and our two cats, Cibi and Carpo. Maybe some of you already know us for Chibi, the Argentine cat who broke his paw (he is fine, the association and also the veterinary surgeon did a splendid job)

What a shame, here we are again asking for help. It is not easy to lay ourselves bare like this, but hunger teaches us humility. At this moment, all we can do is ask for help, with our hearts in our hands.

Who are we ?

We are an Italian-Argentinian family living in Vibo Valentia and, despite all the difficulties, we continue to fight to stay united and build a peaceful future.

Over the last few months, our lives have changed radically: Sebastián, my husband, suffers from a serious genetic kidney disease (end-stage glomerulonephritis) and has started peritoneal dialysis. This required constant care, medical check-ups, changes in habits and enormous physical and emotional strength.

Today we find ourselves without money, without food, with bills to pay, and kindergarten to provide for Luca (170€ this month).

We need help to cover the costs of:

• Food for everyone (including our two cats)
• Electricity and gas bills
• Medicines and sanitary products for Sebastián
• Luca's kindergarten, which is his only safe and stimulating space

We are not looking for charity. We are looking for a gesture of solidarity to get through this hard time and start walking on our own again.
