Description
Hello everyone,
I'm writing to you today because I'm going through an extremely difficult time and I have no other solution but to appeal to your generosity.
I'm facing a serious financial situation and it's become impossible for me to pay my rent, my phone bill or even the petrol I need to get around. My bank account is empty, and despite my efforts, my bank unfortunately can't give me the help I need.
I'm at the point where, at any moment, I could find myself on the street, with no resources and no support. I've exhausted all my options and there's only one alternative left: to ask for your help to get me through this ordeal.
So I'm asking you to help me, even with a small amount, to pay for at least the most urgent expenses, such as my rent and the essentials I need to continue to survive on a day-to-day basis. Any gesture, no matter how small, will be a huge help and I would be deeply grateful.
I know that everyone goes through difficulties at some point, but I'm in a situation where I can't cope on my own. Your financial support would enable me to regain some stability and not sink into total poverty.
If you can't help financially, your sharing and messages of support are also invaluable to me.
I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read my appeal and for considering any form of help.
With all my gratitude
Juju.
Amnesty International is a non-governmental organization dedicated to defending human rights around the world. Since it was founded in 1961, it has campaigned to protect freedom of expression, fight torture, abolish the death penalty and support persecuted people.
To visually illustrate Amnesty International's commitment, the organisation has produced posters featuring testimonies from people it has defended, such as Yecenia Armenta, Fred Bauma and Yves Makwambala. These posters are available on their official website.
In addition, the "Just Humans" exhibition, produced in collaboration with Magnum Photos, retraces 60 years of human rights activism through a selection of poignant images. The exhibition reflects the diversity of the organisation's struggles and is available online.
These visual resources offer a concrete insight into Amnesty International's actions and impact in promoting and protecting human rights around the world.
