When we first stepped into our new home, we felt a mix of emotions. This was our house – the dream we had worked so hard for. But the reality was harsh. The walls were cracked, the floors creaked, and the bathroom and kitchen were barely functional. We knew there was a lot of work ahead, but we didn’t realize how big the challenges would be.

The Beginning of the Renovation

We started planning with great enthusiasm. We wanted to transform this old apartment into a cozy home where we could build our future. Together, we made lists, created a budget, and began moving forward step by step.

But soon, we realized that renovation was much more than painting walls and replacing tiles. The old installations, hidden problems in the walls, and a flooded basement unexpectedly drove up the costs. Each day, the expenses grew, and our savings shrank.

Our Efforts and Support

We are doing everything we can to make it work. Our evenings are spent renovating – my partner is learning how to lay tiles, and I’m painting the walls. During the day, we work, and at night, we wrestle with the question: how will we finish everything?
