My name is András Tősér, and in my utter desperation I am seeking a solution to fund my surgery in Berlin. I have been living with a brain tumour (tentorial meningioma) since 2012. Over the past 12 years, I have undergone several surgical procedures; however, due to its location in the brainstem, the tentorial meningioma could only be partially removed during these operations. Currently, the tumour measures over 7.5 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm, causing significant pain and dizziness, as well as double vision and complete hearing loss in my right ear. After consulting several Hungarian neurosurgeons about further treatment options, I was advised to contact Professor Peter Vajkoczy, a neurosurgeon at Charité in Berlin. I contacted him, sent him the medical reports he requested, and he has agreed to perform my operation; however, the estimated cost of 71,400 euros must be financed from some source. Following receipt of the quote, I submitted an application to the National Health Insurance Fund, but unfortunately it was rejected. At present, I have no other option but to raise funds. I would be grateful for any support to help me cover the cost of the treatment and associated expenses, so that I may have the chance to recover and live a better quality of life.
