My name is Smolca Sorina, I am the mother of David and Denis !

Our children, Denis and David, were born with a congenital malformation of the skull, it is called SCFOCEPHAL CRANIOSTHENOSIS, it jeopardises the optimal development of the brain, the risk of intracranial pressure is the main danger when it comes to this condition. The intracranial pressure involves exophthalmia, strabismus, binocular vision disorders, decreased visual acuity up to loss of vision, vomiting, headache, behavioural disorders, cognitive impairment, etc.. The main cause of this ruthless malformation is the position of the foetus in the womb, babies were positioned under the ribs and pressure was put on the nipple,which resulted in premature closure of the cranial sutures!

DENIS has gaps in the cranial vault of 5-6 cm on both sides on the sides of the middle of the skull , effectively under the skin is the brain not being protected as there is no bone, any accident , any blow can lead to a tragedy from paralysis to death!

David our eldest little boy has the same problem as Denis ,we found out with astonishment at the age of 5, I cannot accuse the incompetence of the doctors, they probably did not have all the necessary information in our case, perhaps each one did as much as he knew, but unfortunately it is very serious because the life of our children is endangered by this cruel malformation! The risk of intracranial pressure is very high in both children!

Our only chance is in America with Dr Jeffrey Fearon.

The doctor recommends us a second operation in Denis's case to reject the remaining half of the sagittal suture and perform the cranioplasty (filling the gaps) so that his life can never be endangered again ,the technique is an indescribable one in words they will take his own bone and close the gaps in his skull with his own bone🙏 !

In David's case Dr Fearon recommends the operation as the risk of intracranial pressure is very high , also having his temples are sunken ,and the bone is squeezing in the front , we pray to the good Lord and hope so , the brain has not yet been injured by the pressure of the bone especially in the front where the forehead has started to bulge , we hope he just puts pressure and a miracle will happen in his case !

The costs are HUGE for us, any loan we take out we cannot reach this amount ,just the operations alone cost about $120,000 and we need to raise all this money by 31 May !

In addition to the cost of the operations , there will be other necessary costs , travel , accommodation , car , and others , just one extra day of hospitalisation costs 1.700$,this total cost would come to about 20.000$ ! We will have to stay in America for a month , because the children will need follow up and post op treatments !

Children's surgeries are mandatory so as not to put their lives in danger , no one wants to take any risk , unfortunately and this is late we hope the good Lord will work through people , send his guardian angels and the miracle will happen 🙏 !
