Description

Hello, my name is Aggelos, I live in Athens Greece. I have I family a little boy 28 months of age and he is such a sweet little boy like an angel but he’s non verbal that’s the biggest problem for me because it’s difficult to communicate so soon with or without your support I’m willing to do anything so I can start him speech therapy and that issue it’s not the only one. A year  ago when he was just a baby I had a really serious accident braking my shoulder to pieces, it was a crushing fracture so I had to do a long extremely difficult operation as soon as possible but it took thirteen days to manage and do the operation so I was with a shuttered broken to pieces shoulder until I managed to find 2.500€ to do the surgery. I gave all my savings and some other from my parents and friends to complete the amount needed. The experience was terrible as it was terrifying and not to speak for the pain I went through that was unbearable. As you can understand I lost everything, my job was the first one then we had to move to a different house and the rehabilitation was the next big step because I couldn’t move my hand at all after having it unmoved for 2 months with a special splints and I ended with ankylosis but that was normal as it is the process, rigidity and  muscle stiffness and atrophy that’s the normal for this situation but as soon as I got rid of the splints that was the round two for the pain that’s of course it still hurts right now 14 months now and I have a long way left according the pain and the physiotherapies and special workouts I need to do. I managed to do only 2 cycles of physiotherapy because it’s expensive for me and believe me I went through lots of pain to manage to move my hand at 40% or the normal before the accident and I am still grateful for that because I can hug my baby now! I’m just happy that I can take my little boy a hag after 6 months but day by day it’s going better a little bit at a time. The doctor prescribed me with opioids in high dosage that are really heavy and now am in the point that little by little am trying to go down with the dosage because as they told me I can’t stop taking them immediately, I need to do it really slowly. So now I’m in the point that I had to work because we couldn’t manage only with my wife’s salary that’s the minimum wage here and give you an example she takes under 880€ a month and only the rent is 450€ if you put the other bills, electricity, water food supplies for our son kindergarten and we need to find a way to to give him speech therapy. I managed to find a work from a government program for 3 months, I started 1 of April and not even with the minimum wage but even lower at 630€ a month as a electrician mechanic and the second day started at work retururnig home, a car suddenly jumped in front of me, I couldn't brake hard enough to avoid him and my car was destroyed and the person in question started the car and drove away, leaving me with the vehicle in its current condition. I ended up with a cervical and vertebral stele fracture and muscle pain so they gave me new medication, new cycle of painkillers and I was in bed for 7 days with a collar on my neck. At least the blood test and other examinations were good and the blades and screws from the surgery fortunately did not interfere.

As for the driver who closed the road and caused the accident, he disappeared and a month and a half later the police have not located him. Same thing as today 3 months later still can’t get to find him and I still have my car totaled and completely Brocken and unusable.

As if all this weren't enough, I don't even have a car anymore and what they told me is that it's inconvenient and expensive to repair and it's already an old 2002 Seat Ibiza coupe two-door that's not for a family and it really made our lives difficult anyway.

So I'm in the unpleasant position of asking for help and support so I can get back on my feet and get back a normal life.

update: as of the first day of this month I am officially out of work and eventually I should have listened to my doctor and waited as much as my body needed so I am paying my decision now after 3 months of work I lost 14 kg weight and especially muscle mass. I am in worse condition than before and really unhealthy and weak. Also ended up without any money left that I wanted to save something from what I got paid. At least i helped out with the bills as i could and everything i had to give.

If anyone wants to help the universe will find the way to repair your kindness, one way or another always does.

Thank you in advance to anyone who want and can help my family.
