We are thrilled to announce a fundraising campaign to support IONAS - Department of Therapeutic Exercise and Sports for People with Disabilities, an extraordinary organization in Athens, Greece. This initiative is proudly supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) through its Community Initiative scheme, which will match every euro raised 1:1 (up to EUR 6,000). This means your contribution will be doubled, making your support even more impactful!

Why IONAS?

Since 2007, IONAS has been changing the lives of children and athletes with disabilities through therapeutic exercise, especially hydrotherapy, while empowering them to participate in sports at the national and international levels. With 150 children currently in hydrotherapy programs and 25 athletes competing in events such as the Paralympic and European Games, IONAS is a true force for inclusion and empowerment. They focus on sports such as swimming, athletics, cycling, triathlon, and goalball (for visually impaired athletes). IONAS also provides early intervention programs for preschool children with motor and neurological syndromes, helping them grow stronger and more confident from a young age.

All funds raised will go toward purchasing vital equipment and supporting IONAS in its mission to improve mobility, quality of life, and access to opportunities for people with disabilities. Your donation will directly help children and athletes gain the tools they need to thrive.
