I am setting up this fundraiser for my daughter Maruška (32), who passed away on 5 January 2026 whilst in hospital.

I am left to cope with everything on my own; as her mother, I feel a duty to do everything I can to clarify the circumstances of her death and to be certain that she was given all the necessary care.

I am deeply saddened.

My daughter was not just a daughter; she was part of a family that loved her. The loss of my daughter cannot be put into words.

Maruska was a good, kind and thoughtful daughter.

She deserves to have all the questions surrounding her passing answered properly and fairly.

My aim is for all the unanswered questions to be properly explained. I do not wish to accuse anyone without evidence, and my greatest wish is that, should any misconduct be proven, legal consequences are drawn so that this does not happen again and other mothers and families do not have to go through this.

The funds raised will be used for legal assistance, a solicitor specialising in medical law, expert reports, medical records and other costs associated with clarifying the entire case. Unfortunately, these steps are very costly.

The lawyer I have chosen and would like to represent me in this matter charges 3,000 CZK per hour. I am asking you, the donors, for your help so that my daughter’s death is not in vain.
