The Need for a Drone in Triglav National Park: Enhancing Search and Rescue Efforts for Missing People and Animals

Triglav National Park, with its vast mountainous terrain, dense forests, and remote areas, is a place of beauty and adventure, attracting hikers, climbers, and wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world. However, the very remoteness and ruggedness that make the park so special also pose significant challenges when it comes to search and rescue operations.

Every year, there are reports of missing hikers, mountaineers, and even lost animals in the park. The steep cliffs, thick forests, and unpredictable weather conditions make it difficult for rescue teams to reach those in need of help.
