Sometimes life deals an unfair hand. But together, we can turn the impossible into reality. This is the story of our friend Vincenz—a kind-hearted soul who lost his home, his peace, and his stability—and how we can help him regain what he deserves. This isn’t just about the money.

It’s about fairness, compassion, and showing Vincenz that he’s not alone and we are confident that we can achieve this.

For years, Vincenz took care of his aging father while working to provide for them both. To ensure his father was looked after while he was at work and for a helping hand, he hired a caregiver. A local woman, neighbour to help them out. Tragically, during this time, Vincenz was unaware that his father, in a vulnerable state, had signed a "lifetime care contract," which unknowingly granted the caregiver ownership of the house—something Vincenz only found out at the very end.

In September 2024, after his father’s passing, Vincenz was forced to leave the home. The courts sided with the caregiver and family memeber of the local , who is now selling the house through a real estate agency. Left with nothing but mounting debts, Vincenz had to move into a small rented apartment with his dog, scattering his belongings among friends.

This heartbreaking ordeal hasn’t just left a financial burden and it’s taken a toll on Vincenz’s health. He’s been battling panic attacks, anxiety, and physical stress caused by the trauma of losing his home and the exhausting fight.

Despite everything, Vincenz remains the kind, giving person we’ve always known. Each summer, he organizes creative activities for children during the summer, caring for rescued animals, helps neighbors, and shares kindness wherever he goes. Now it’s time for us to return that kindness.

We’ve already raised €6,000 through local efforts, but it’s not enough. Our goal is to surprise Vincenz by helping him buy back his home—or at least cover his debts and legal costs so he can start fresh.
