Orestes, our beloved dachshund of almost 2 years old, is a sweet and affectionate dog, extremely attached to us, but from the very beginning he seemed fragile and insecure. He was separated from his mother too early, which fuelled a deep insecurity in him as he grew up. Recently, this insecurity has turned into aggression towards us and, in particular, towards people he does not know. Being super protective, he perceives threat everywhere and tries to defend us at all costs.

This much-desired little dog is unfortunately making our lives extremely difficult: he bites or growls when we take him out; it is difficult to live with him at home and leaving him alone is very complicated because he barks incessantly.

We need a behaviourist, a serious professional to help us solve these problems as soon as possible. Since they are long and expensive, we are organising this fundraiser to intervene immediately. Without an intervention, we may be forced to look for a new family for Orestes, capable of supporting him morally and financially on this path to awareness of the world and of himself.

It breaks our hearts to think of Orestes with other people and we would like to avoid this at all costs.
