A student with a big heart once decided to rescue a kitten. And not just one. Over the years, I’ve cared for many animals of various ages and health conditions, but the bravest of them all was Mimi. I’ve had her since she was a kitten, and she recently turned just 5 years old. On 7 October, she underwent a difficult operation, which has affected our financial stability. Mimi still has check-ups and treatments ahead of her. I will never give her up for anything in the world; she is my other half. However, with a heavy heart, I am turning to you, strangers, who can achieve great things even with the smallest of sums. And it won’t go unrewarded. I’ve been painting pictures and making ceramics for years, and I’ll lovingly create a piece of art for you too, as a token of my gratitude.
