Hello everyone,
The reason I am making this request today is that I am in serious financial difficulty.
I am a 36-year-old nurse who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. Given the way the system works, it took a long time for my benefits to come through, so unfortunately I had to take out loans (I know, a very bad idea, but it was the only option I had). On top of that, there was building work going on in my block of flats.
I was on sick leave for nearly nine months, being paid every fortnight because my employer didn’t offer subrogation. So everything was very complicated.
Now, I’m in a situation where I have to sell my flat to pay off my debts. But I’ll need a certain amount of money whilst I wait for it to be sold.
I don’t know who to turn to, so I’m giving it my all, hoping that someone might be able to help me. I desperately need a helping hand.
