It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you, as I really don’t know what to do anymore.

It’s about our son, who is now 37.

Five years ago, his girlfriend at the time left him, taking their newborn daughter with her, in a rush because she had fallen in love with someone else. After that, he fell into a terrible hole and became severely depressed. He stopped going to work, stopped paying his bills, and subsequently lost his flat. Of course, we took him in, but it was a terrible time.He wouldn’t accept any help and, sadly, stopped taking care of anything. Naturally, a huge amount of debt built up during that time.

In the meantime, he finally sought help last year and is back on the right track.In the meantime, we took out a loan to pay off a large part of his debts. Unfortunately, there is still a balance of 20,000 to be paid. The problem is that he could start a great job in January, but he is not allowed to have any wage garnishments there, and it is not possible to pay off the remaining debt in instalments.

I hope my request doesn’t seem unreasonable, but I want to leave no stone unturned to help him over the final hurdle... Thank you for now, and all the best to you all.
