My name is Sandro Burelli I am 60 years old born and raised in Cagliari

Why am I here in this group?

Before I make my request, I have to explain.

Many people in Cagliari know me... some because I have always been very jovial and good company, others because of my profession.

Until 2020 I was a kitchen chef... in Cagliari I worked at Ginepri, La Marinella, Principi di Dan and other restaurants... and I also worked a lot abroad.

At the beginning of 2021 I was sick and was diagnosed with a tumour... from that moment everything changed, the therapies began and consequently the side effects began, since then I no longer work, after the obligatory paperwork I received a year's civil invalidity allowance with a percentage of 100% for an amount of €520.... then the commission raised my invalidity to 85% with a cheque for 343 €... from 1 January 2024 they informed me that I had received extra money in 2023, so now I receive a monthly cheque of 274 €.

With this money I pay my utilities

I also take ADI and with this help I can eat and take care of myself within the limits...

Now... I still want to live... to be able to fight this illness peacefully and I would like to be able to work... to be able to do a job that I can do given the little energy I have... I certainly couldn't manage restaurant kitchens.

So after much thought and evaluation, I have made a decision:

I would like to open a frozen food shop...

With the money I get, being a minimum pension from INPS, I can't ask for a loan.

I have studied the costs, I already have the contacts of suppliers all over the world for the best products at the best price...

I have a business plan ( the documentation that proves the feasibility of the project )

I have already identified two/three premises that could be suitable for this shop

With this job I could live with dignity and also reach retirement age by paying the contributions that I lack.

What dare I ask you?

A free offer starting from one euro... I know it sounds like heresy... nonsense... but I believe in good people, I believe in solidarity...

My request is a kind of "Crowdfunding" (for those who don't know what it is... it is the request for funds from people who believe in the idea or project, receiving in exchange something that is promised by the applicant)

In order to open this activity, I need to reach the sum of 50,000 euros.

As written before, the offer is free... so you can pay from one euro upwards...

and I have thought about how to pay back all those who should espouse my project.

I plan to cover a wall in the shop with the first and last names of all those who have contributed... so a list of all the donations made would be created, and depending on the amount, the first and last name would be different sizes.

A mention would be made on the site of each person who contributed to the start-up of the project.
