Hello, my name is Paulina, I am 29 years old and my greatest treasure is my 3-year-old son Adam. I am writing to you with a huge request for help in the difficult time that I am going through.

My problems began when I returned to Poland and got pregnant. In difficult times, when I needed support the most, my family turned away from me and my husband, instead of supporting me, began to lead a destructive lifestyle. His violence, betrayals and thefts led me to extreme despair. In the face of what was happening in our home, I made the difficult decision to leave in order to provide Adam with a safe and peaceful life.

Although I work full-time, my earnings are not enough to pay the rent, kindergarten for Adam and pay off the debts that have accumulated over time. I live in constant stress, I often go hungry, and my only goal has become to create a better tomorrow for my son.

Seeking help, I reported the case to the police, but the proceedings were discontinued due to lack of evidence. I was disappointed by the support system that did not notice my situation, even though I tried to fight for a better tomorrow for myself and Adam. My mental state has deteriorated significantly - I was diagnosed with deep depression and anxiety, which affects my daily functioning. I have locked myself in the house, I am afraid of people, but I know that I have to fight for the good of my child.

Today I am asking you for help. I am ashamed to ask, but I have no other choice. I need support to become financially independent from my husband, pay off debts and provide Adam with a peaceful and safe life. Any amount, even the smallest, will be a huge support for us and will help me fight for a better tomorrow.
