Description
On 14 and 15 September 2024, south-west Poland (Lower Silesia) – my
home and the places where my family and many friends live: Stronie Śląskie, Kłodzko and Lądek Zdrój – were hit by devastating floods 🥹 Fortunately, my family are safe, but many of our friends have lost their homes, businesses and sources of income; some have even lost loved ones. The towns, roads and infrastructure have been severely damaged.
With autumn just around the corner, the flood victims need to rebuild their homes, renovate and furnish their flats, or simply find a new place to live to get through the winter.
Our aim is to reach those who need tools, building materials, household appliances, etc. Many do not have access to computers or the internet, and the money raised so far may not have reached them.
We are collecting donations for the following people, amongst others:
