Description
We are a family-run, eco-sustainable farm located on the beautiful island of Sicily. We mainly grow citrus and tropical fruits, but as we are also animal lovers, we are committed to a project aimed at their protection and welfare. We have therefore decided to take in and help breed, in a semi-wild state, as many endangered native breeds as possible on our farm. To do this, however, we need funds first and foremost to purchase the animals – seeking, where possible, to rescue them from slaughterhouses – and then to build the fences, provide the necessary shelter, feeders and watering points, acquire some agricultural machinery, and everything else required for their welfare and day-to-day care. With this fundraising initiative, we have decided to reach out to all those who, like us, care deeply about the welfare and conservation of the various animal species and the biodiversity still existing on this planet, asking you to give us a helping hand through a voluntary donation to help us achieve our set goal.
