Dear readers,

we are reaching out to you on behalf of our fellow student and friend Ana, who is doing a dual degree in nursing in Osnabrück. Sadly, Ana has suffered a terrible blow, as her family in Peru were involved in a serious car accident. Naturally, Ana now wants to get back to her family as soon as possible and needs to pay not only for her own flight, but also for that of her five-year-old daughter. Furthermore, there is virtually no health insurance in Peru, and the treatment for her mother and sister must be paid for entirely out of their own pockets. As a result, the costs for just 11 days in intensive care will already amount to over 20,000 euros. This means that Ana is now not only responsible for her child and her siblings in Peru, but also has to find a way to support her family whilst she is a student. This is where we come in – as a course group, we would like to help Ana and are asking for your support. Every euro helps to ease the burden on Ana and her family!
